LEAVES' EYES Issues Post-European Tour Update

May 26, 2007

LEAVES' EYES — the German/Norwegian band formed by ex-THEATRE OF TRAGEDY singer Liv Kristine Espenaes Krull and members of ATROCITY (who are fronted by Liv's husband Alexander Krull) — completed a European tour with KAMELOT on May 19, 2007 in Oslo, Norway.

Commented Liv Kristine: "It has been a wonderful tour which couldn't have been better! We played in 17 countries and met many old and new friends. The shows were greatly attended which was excellent for us. The positive feedback we got every night at our signing session after the show means a lot to us on our path. We are so grateful to you, our fans, for that! We are looking forward to the summer festivals and our upcoming Northamerican tour."

On the final part of the tour, LEAVES' EYES visited Scandinavia and, of course, Liv's homeland, Norway. During the Norwegian shows in Haugesund and Oslo the audiences began to sing the Norwegian national anthem after LEAVES' EYES performed the song "Norwegian Lovesong" to show their enthusiasm and to welcome the band to their country.

Said Liv: "Of course, those were wonderful moments. Not only because we finally returned to play in my home country, Norway, but also the reactions made these evenings very special to me."

According to a posting on LEAVES' EYES' web site, the final show of the tour in Oslo was attended by more than 1,400 people.

A three-and-a-half-minute video clip (set to the music of "New Found Land") containing footage shot on LEAVES' EYES' European tour with KAMELOT has been posted online at this location (Windows Media).

LEAVES' EYES will film its first-ever DVD at the Metal Female Voices Fest on October 20, 2007 at Oktoberhallen in Wieze, Belgium.

The band's latest EP, "Legend Land", entered the German chart at position No. 75.

"Legend Land" was released in North America on July 28, 2006 via Napalm Records.
